Final Project for S&DS631: Optimization and Computation

I was recently reading about Energy functions in Hopfield networks and was introduced to the idea of Lyapunov functions. I found them to be pretty neat, so I thought I’d write up some of what I learned. I glossed over some of the mathematical rigor in favor of approachability, but if you are interested in learning more, I linked some of the resources I looked at while learning about Lyapunov stability.
